Eagles’ superstar QB Jalen Hurts receives his master’s degree in human relations from Oklahoma

Jalen Hurts‘ lucrative offseason got even better on Friday night, as he received his master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma.

In a video posted by Dr. David Surratt, the vice president of student affairs and dean of students at Oklahoma, Hurts was seen accepting his diploma as onlookers applauded the Eagles quarterback.

Hurts was also cheered on by his agent, Nicole Lynn, who posted a congratulatory message to the Pro Bowl quarterback alongside a series of graduation pictures.

‘Leads his team to a Super Bowl, becomes the highest paid player in NFL history, while finishing his Master’s Degree,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘I couldn’t be more proud of you, J!’

Hurts earned an undergraduate degree in communication and information sciences from the University Of Alabama in 2018 in just three years, but finished his college football career at Oklahoma the following year.

There, he finished as the Heisman Trophy runner-up and got started on his master’s.

Hurts’ latest degree came just weeks after he agreed a mammoth five-year, $255million contract with the Eagles – the largest in NFL history.

Of that amount, $179million is fully guaranteed, though the 24-year-old made it clear his work ethic will be wholly unaffected.

‘It’s not a moment where I can reflect, because the journey isn’t over,’ Hurts said at a press conference after the extension was announced.

‘I’ve been on this constant quest of trying to be the best player I can be – with no limits, just trying to be the best version of myself.’

Hurts’ latest accomplishment off the field will be especially appreciated by his parents, who are both teachers.

The Eagles and their star quarterback will began their 2023 season on September 10 at the Patriots, in Week 1.
