Billionaire financier George Soros has spent millions of dollars funding the campaigns of woke District Attorneys who have let criminals run amok with no prosecution in many American cities.
A study earlier this year found that the 92-year-old spent at least $40million to install as many as 75 prosecutors who support his leftist agenda — either with outright donations or fueled through political action committees.
These DAs have stripped away bail laws and opted to forgo prosecuting crimes such as theft and reckless driving, effectively giving criminals a free pass and leading to the breakdown of law and order across the United States.
As a direct result, crime has skyrocketed in major cities overseen by Soros’s DAs, with St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner having to step down as she faced a bill that would strip her of most of her power and ‘permanently remove the right of every St. Louis voter to elect their circuit attorney.’
And in New York, Soros has come under fire for supporting District Attorney Alvin Bragg — who indicted former President Donald Trump for allegedly making a $130,000 hush-money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
DailyMail.com has now compiled a list of the most notorious District Attorneys George Soros has financed over the years:

Alvin Bragg: Reduced armed robbery penalties in NYC
Soros donated $1 million in 2021 to the left-leaning Color of Change political action committee that backed Bragg, who vowed to reduce penalties for armed robberies, and to no longer prosecute resisting arrest in the Big Apple.
He has also let a litany of shoplifting offenses slide, leading to soaring smash-and-grab robberies at high-end retail stores across the city.Â
Theft from pharmacies, bodegas, and supermarkets in New York City has left store owners locking merchandise to shelves with chains and padlocks.
In recent weeks, Bragg has also come under fire from conservatives for indicting former President Donald Trump for allegedly making a $130,000 hush-money payment made to Daniels.
On April 2, the Trump campaign wrote: ‘Leftist Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg concocted a sham indictment of President Donald J. Trump. It is an unprecedented political persecution of the 45th President of the United States and a blatant attempt to interfere in the 2024 election.’
It added, ‘the American people and Republican primary voters, in particular, are outraged by the weaponization of our justice system by George Soros’ hand-picked and funded Manhattan DA against a completely innocent person and the leading Republican candidate for president.’
But George vehemently hit back at the accusations as he claimed he had no connection to Bragg.Â
His spokesman Michael Vachon said: ‘George Soros has never met, spoken with, or otherwise communicated with Alvin Bragg.
‘Neither George Soros nor Democracy PAC (a PAC to which Mr. Soros has contributed funds) contributed to Alvin Bragg’s campaign for Manhattan District Attorney.’
The billionaire himself says he doesn’t know Bragg and never directly funded his campaign.
‘I did not contribute to his campaign and I don’t know him,’ George told Semafor.
‘I think some on the right would rather focus on far-fetched conspiracy theories than on the serious charges against the former president.’

Kim Gardner, the St. Louis District Attorney, announced recently that she would step down from her position amid increased scrutiny into case dismissals and delays
Kim Gardner: Murders reach 50-year high in St. Louis
The St. Louis DA received about $116,000 from Soros backed PACs.
Under her watch, murder in St. Louis his a 50-year high.
Despite those numbers, Gardner has charged fewer and fewer felonies.Â
Gardner had also faced backlash just one year into office, when she indicted Gov. Eric Greitens for taking a partially nude photo of a woman without her concenst.
But the charges were eventually dropped, an investigator she hired pleaded guilty in federal court to concealing documents in the case and Gardner was reprimanded by the Missouri Supreme Court and was forced to pay $750 in an ethics case over her office’s mishandling of evidence, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.Â
She later also came under fire for her decision to charge a couple for brandishing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters.
Everything eventually came to a had in February, when a car speeding through the downtown crashed, pinning a teenager between two vehicles and leading to the amputation of both her legs.
The car’s driver, Daniel Riley, had remained free after court delays, even though he kept violating his bond.
In the aftermath, many of Gardner’s former allies began calling for her resignation and Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey filed a suit seeking her removal.
Gardner called the suit a politically-motivated attack on her office and blamed subordinates as the spotlight turned on individual case dismissals and delays.
But she eventually announced last month that she would step down from office.
Kim Foxx: Lenient on gun violent and shoplifting in Chicago
The District Attorney for Cooks County, Illinois, Foxx received at least $2million for Soros backed PACs.
Upon taking office Foxx raised the threshold in Chicago for a shoplifting offense in to qualify as a felony from $300 worth of merchandise to $1,000.
With little more to fear than a slap on the wrist for theft, criminals have run rampant in the city and raids on stores have skyrocketed.
Foxx also faced ire from Chicago officials after she refused to prosecute individuals filmed in a daylight shootout, because she characterized the violent crime as a ‘mutual combat’ incident.

And she came under fire after her office announced that it would charge actor Jussie Smollett for faking a hate crime, only to drop the charges a few weeks later.
Foxx announced last month that she will not be seeking a third term in office, saying: ‘I leave now with my head held high, with my heart full, knowing that better days are ahead. And it has been my honor and my privileges on behalf of project kids across this city.’
But before she leaves office, Foxx announced last week that Cook County prosecutors will no longer object to waiving court-ordered fines and fees for low-income defendants.
‘One of the tragedies of the criminal justice system is that a disproportionate amount of its financing is shouldered by people of color and those living in poverty,’ she said in a statement.
‘Rather than end the cycles of racial disparities and criminalization, fees and fines perpetuate them.’Â
Meanwhile, motor vehicle thefts in Chicago are up a whopping 134 percent over last year, while thefts are up 17 percent and robberies are up 16 percent, according to the most recent crime statistics released by the Chicago Police Department.
Larry Krasner: Lax arrests despite hundreds of murders in Philly
Philadelphia’s District Attorney, Krasner received about $1.5million from Soros backed groups.
Under his watch at over 1,000 people have been murdered in the City of Brotherly Love.
Despite those staggering numbers, in only 38.5 percent of deadly shootings were any suspects arrested. The other 61.5 percent saw nobody detained.
Things have gotten so bad in the city that at least three Democratic Philadelphia mayoral candidates suggested they would consider trying to circumvent Krasner and refer gun-related criminal cases to state or federal prosecutors.
Under Derek Green’s plan, police would refer cases to federal authorities, and perpetrators could face federal penalties.
‘We need to bring back the certainty of punishment in the city of Philadelphia,’ he said, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.Â
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has been under fire for his ‘woke’ policiesÂ
George Gascón: Los Angeles’ woke DA who let cases pile up
The DA for Los Angeles County, California, was supported by about $4.7million from the Soros-backed California Justice and Public Safety PAC.
Gascón pushed for and secured a host of lax criminal justice reforms since he took office, including stripping away bail for some crimes and adjusting offense thresholds.Â
Crime – especially home burglaries – have soared, and even led to ‘crime tourists’ from South America to wealthy communities, and then flea home with their loot once released on lax bail.
He has also been accused of letting 10,000 cases pile up and driving scores of prosecutors to quit.
Described as an ‘authoritarian’ and ‘toxic’ manager, Gascon is said to have driven talent away, demoted top lawyers and fought anyone with opposing views, multiple sources who have worked with the DA told the New York Post.Â
Joe Gonzales: Homicides spike 50 percent in Texas
DA from Bexar County, Texas, Gonzales received $1million from Soros.
José Garza, DA from Travis County, Texas
Murders have skyrocketed 50 percent since he took office in 2018, according to The Post.
José Garza: Vowed to stop ‘over-prosecution’ in Texas
The DA from Travis County, Texas, received about $600,000 from the Soros-backed Texas Justice and Safety PAC.
Garza vowed to end ‘over-prosecution’ of minorities and impoverished residents.
He has also drawn ire from the Austin Police Department for arresting officers for incidents which had been handled through department’s internal process.
John Creuzot: Allows robbery ‘for necessity’ in Dallas
Creuzot was given at least $236,000 from Soros while running for DA from Dallas County, Texas.
His office doesn’t prosecute theft of ‘personal items’ worth under $750 of the good were ‘stolen out of necessity.’
Creuzot’s office is also said to be looking at alternatives to incarceration, citing overcrowded jails in Dallas and saying America’s system of mass incarceration only catches the most vulnerable.
Steve Descano: Rescinded cash bails for crimes in Virginia
Descano, the DA for Fairfax County, Virginia, received $600,000 in donations from Soros.
He has rescinded cash bails for many crimes, arguing it ‘exacerbates socioeconomic disparities’ and leads to more crime.
